I am very happy to share this important moment with you!
I was born and initially raised in Germany (Beienbach, close to Siegen, close to Cologne..). When I was 9 years old we moved to Brazil where I stayed most of my live. After I finished my residency in urology, I decided to go for a fellowship in neuro-urology to Switzerland, where I meet my big love Gergely and the rest of the story you probably know...
I spent my childhood and youth in Pápa, a small town in Western Hungary. From early on, I spent much time in the nature and grew interest in natural sciences. At 18, I moved to the capital, Budapest, to study physics and later medical physics. After obtaining my degree in 2014, I spent one year at a research lab in Rovereto, in the Italian Alps, where I fell in love with the mountains - hiking, mountain biking and skiing became my hobbies. Since 2015, I have been living in Switzerland where I recently completed my PhD on MRI-based spinal cord imaging. Right now, I am a researcher at University Hospital Balgrist (same hospital as Miriam works) and continue my work on MRI development. I am very fortunate to live in Zurich, where I can live both of my passions, MRI research and the mountains.
